Shift Engineer - HAMILTON ROWE RECRUITMENT SERVICES LTD : Job Details

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a respected Building Services provider, based at a commercial site in the City of London. The role offers the convenience of avoiding the busy Central London commute while working in a high-standard environment.

You'll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on M&E systems, responding to faults and emergencies, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

As part of the on-site engineering team, your responsibilities will include PPM, reactive repairs, and remedial works across the site.

This is a continental shift role (days and nights), suited to an electrically biased engineer with City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualifications and at least 3 years of experience in building maintenance.

Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
• Organising subcontractors
• Quotations
• Health & Safety
• Logbooks
• Risk assessments
• Permits to work

Requirements:

• Electrically or Mechanically Qualified (City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 or NVQ equivalent)

Salary and Benefits:

• £50,000 - £52,000
