Henderson Brown are delighted to be assisting in the recruitment of a Shift Engineer, with a well-recognised FMCG business in the Cambridge area. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a capable and well-established existing team. Responsibilities:* Develop and implement action plans to address failures and support continuous improvement initiatives.* Attend to breakdowns promptly, ensuring minimal downtime.* Complete all work orders and planned maintenance tasks efficiently.* Ensure accurate completion of all documentation related to maintenance tasks.* Support all operational aspects to manufacture products safely, hygienically, and efficientlyThe shift pattern would be a rotating days and nights pattern, with an average of 42 hours per week.Requirements:* Relevant qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering* Experience in the FMCG sector* Proficient in electrical and mechanical fault finding, PLC and automation fault finding, and maintenance design.* Additional skills in instrumentation, boiler operations, and various safety trainings (COSHH, Manual Handling, Working at Height, etc.).With various benefits and a comprehensive overall package, this is a great opportunity.
