Job Description :

Are you an Administrator with an interest in developing your Health and Safety experience, whilst looking for an opportunity to join a team where the are clear routes for career progression and training.I am working with a Herts based Construction business who are able to offer just that.

Working in their small, but fast paced Health and Safety team you will take responsibility for the day to day support to various projects, your responsibilities are likely to include; Sub- Contractor database managementSupport for Document Control liaising with the SHEQ CoordinatorProvide administrative support in safety, health, environment, and quality matters in conjunction with the SHEQ functionAssist in promoting a positive culture and continual improvement of safety, health, environment, and quality standards throughout the companySupport and provide information to site teams to ensure compliance with internal procedures.Support the Business / SHEQ team in the administration of the Audit ProgrammesProviding administration support for pre-qualification, tender and SHEQ award submissions.Maintain accurate records of relevant SHEQ data, e.g. the data required for key performance indicators and ensure they are published and communicated (internally and externally) as required by line management.Monitor the SHEQ Dashboard ensuring that all relevant information has been added eg utility damages, accidents/incidents etc.Provide administrative support to the SHEQ team where required and when approved by line managementUndertake tasks/projects as requested by the SHEQ Coordinator [and SHEQ Manager]Skills and experience requiredIdeally, previous background of working in a SHEQ environment in either the construction and/or utilities sector5 GCSEs (A-C) including English and maths (or equivalent)Computer literate with programmes such as word, excel, etc.Good communications skills, both written and verbalOrganisational skills and ability to prioritiseA high level of confidentialitySelf-motivated but can also work in a teamA smart appearance and professional mannerInitiative and the ability to offer new ideasIn return you will benefit from Private Pension SchemeHealth cashplanDiscount and cashback schemeAnnual BonusDiscounted gym schemeLong service awardRetail discount schemeEmployee assistance programme
