Technical Services Coordinator – Permanent – Central London – £45,000 – £53,000 Per Annum - Start ASAPReed Talent Solutions are partnering with a Global Bank based in Central London in the search for a Technical Services Coordinator to join their friendly team on a full-time permanent basis.Based in the heart of Liverpool Street, the Technical Services Coordinator will manage and oversee the daily activities of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems/services within the premises. This role requires operational oversight of work activities undertaken by the M&E services contractor, ensuring high standards of performance and compliance with health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate would have experience working within banking or in a large corporate environment as a Technical Services Coordinator, although this isn’t an essential requirement. On call 24/7, you will have access to the system, reactive to call outs. Attending site out of hours on occasion.

Day to Day of the role:

• Operational oversight of Mechanical & Electrical services contractor activities within the premises, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Manage and monitor the performance of the external M&E contractor, ensuring helpdesk tasks and Planned Preventative Maintenance are undertaken and completed.
• Monitor PCS helpdesk emails, ensuring tasks are completed expediently and jobs are closed on the helpdesk job log.
• Set and monitor performance standards for continuous improvement.
• Update the asset list of equipment and review energy savings initiatives for Smart building performance.
• Manage or assist in project management of building projects, fit-outs, and technical infrastructure upgrades.
• Monitor M&E contract budgetary expenditure, processing purchase orders and invoices.
• Liaise with Landlord’s building management team on M&E systems impacting daily operations.
• Uphold health and safety standards, providing guidance on risk assessments and maintaining a safe working environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in managing Mechanical and Electrical services within a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage contractors and monitor performance.
• Proficient in financial management and budgetary control.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills with both internal teams and external contacts.
• Knowledge of Smart building technologies and energy-saving initiatives.
• Competent in project management and oversight of technical infrastructure projects.
• As part of wider team, availability 24/7 to deal with emergencies and critical plant failures
• Occasional weekend work required
