Job Description :

ServiceNow Developer - Leeds Based (twice a week)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a talented team of ServiceNow professionals to deliver changes and provide support to our government client.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager, Developers, and service teams to ensure the ServiceNow platform meets the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Define and deliver user stories, resolve incidents, and test and promote major releases.
  • Drive self-service and automation capabilities, leveraging Service Portal, Orchestration, and Integration Hub.
  • Lead technical tasks related to configuration and implementation of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Evaluate emerging ServiceNow technologies and define roadmaps to meet business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects following best practice principles.
  • Update documentation related to incidents, changes, and designs as required.
  • Lead a small team of ServiceNow developers and supporting SMEs in development and support activities.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a senior technical resource in ServiceNow platform development, particularly in areas such as CSM, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, Integration's, WSD, and HRSD.
  • Working knowledge of designing and developing APIs and web service integration's with ServiceNow.
  • Hands-on experience creating self-service and automation capabilities.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of ServiceNow integration using web services and other web-based technologies.
  • Proficiency in coding and scripting.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience in Agile software delivery methodology.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
  • Proven hands-on experience as a Senior ServiceNow developer.
  • Experience in Agile software delivery methodology.
  • Ability to understand as-is and to-be processes to deliver toolset changes.
  • Contributory experience in end-to-end development activities of project enhancements, changes, and upgrades.

Core Competencies Preferred:

  • Good experience with ITILv3 or 4.
  • Familiarity with cloud services including SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS.
  • Cloud provider experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google, ServiceNow).
  • Experience in developing and designing technical solutions and integrations.
  • Familiarity with delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and Wagile.
  • Strong team player with effective task management skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working alone or in teams.

Salary : 500 - 600
