Job Title: ServiceNow Developer - Contract (12 Months)Location: UK-wide | Hybrid (2 days per week on-site - London preferred)Contract Length: 12 MonthsIR35 Status: Inside IR35

We're hiring a ServiceNow Developer to join a high-performing digital team within central government on a long-term project focused on modernising internal platforms and services.

You'll be involved across the full lifecycle - from shaping requirements to building integrations and delivering robust, user-friendly solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

• Enhancing and customising modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSM, and HRSD

• Developing custom applications, portals, and dashboards

• Implementing automation using Flow Designer and legacy Workflow Editor

• Building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs for external integrations

• Managing data imports, CMDB structure, and Discovery

• Supporting performance analytics and reporting across services

• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and scripting (JavaScript essential)

• Strong skills with Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Business Rules

• Demonstrated knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and module configuration

• Experience working in agile teams, ideally using Jira or Azure DevOps

• Active SC clearance preferred (required at offer stage)

• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, or CIS in ITSM, HR, or CSM)

• Experience in high-compliance or regulated environments
