The role: Service Technician. Location: Near Hucknall, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottingham, MansfieldHours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Day Shifts Only)Overtime: Guaranteed 6 hours weekly at time and a half after 39 hours at basic rate.Start Date: Aiming for April / May.Pay Rate: Competitive (depending on experience) for the first 39 hours, plus 6 hours at time and a half.The Company:Founded in the 1990s next to a bustling farm, the company boasts a scenic setting amidst local woodlands and fields. They are renowned for their custom modification of farming equipment and maintenance of agricultural vehicles, a specialty that has brought recognition through various television features. As they embark on new and exciting projects, we're in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Service technician to join the team.The Role:The role is the servicing of agricultural vehicles: visiting customer sites and diagnosing issues, retrieving the vehicles for servicing at the maintenance facility. The role is predominantly based at the home facility, but some site-based servicing may be required. We're Looking for Someone Who:Essential:* Vehicle maintenance experience (ideally agricultural, small plant or similar) * An understanding of hydraulics or pneumatics. * Driving licence. * Diagnostics experience.* Evidence of a constant job history.Desirable:* Trailer towing experience.
