Tameside has a varied and long established team who is looking to welcome a new Service Manager to oversee and develop our Supported Accommodation and Recovery Community services.
The Tameside Mental Health services currently consist of two contracts across a community outreach service, and three mental health supported accommodation services. The successful post holder will ensure service users receive individualised person-centred support, enabling them to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, through participating in the community and developing their abilities as fully as possible.
The post holder must ensure all supported living and domiciliary standards/requirements are met and exceeded across the service. This will include undertaking quality assurance and compliance audits across the services. It will also be necessary to contribute to the wider development of services taking part in partnership events and local initiatives to promote service user wellbeing and community links and to ensure positive joint working with all local agencies and stakeholders.
We are seeking an individual who has a genuine passion for recovery based approaches, with a strong commitment to providing support for individuals with mental health needs. The successful candidate will preferably have experience of assessment and referrals and have experience of risk management and service delivery.
You will receive full induction support and supervision. There are excellent career development opportunities within Creative Support. We offer a comprehensive internal mental health training package and a thorough induction and onsite training will also be offered.
