Service Delivery Manager-Onsite-Preston,Lancashire - £60,000pa - Bond Williams : Job Details

Service Delivery Manager required to join a friendly team of IT Engineers in Preston, Lancashire.This role is ON SITE both in the office and on customer premises, with occasional remote working.This role involves speaking to customers daily, so clear communication and customer service skills are a must. Previous experience of managing a team within an IT environment (preferably within a MSP operation) is also essential.Experience Required

• Technical background in relevant technologies such as Windows Operating Environment, Cloud Services, Virtualisation, Hosting, Networking, Storage.
• Previous experience of managing a team will mean that you will be confident in managing performance, carrying out appraisals, coaching, training and developing your team of engineers.
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tool set
• Knowledge of problem management and incident management processes
• Confident working on different systems across multiple products.

Role Responsibilities

• Training, Coaching and Supporting the team of IT Engineers, including building team spirit.
• Identify issues, resolve and suggest measures to be put in place for long term resolution.
• Being the escalating point for our IT engineers
• Assisting the Group Service Delivery Director with the major incident process from start to completion.
• Supporting VIP customers with any complex technical support needed.
• Instilling rigorous practices within the technical team, ensuring complete and accurate logging of all calls and incidents.
