As a Groups Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing, delivering, and shaping provisions within our groups and community services. Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Lead and support the development and delivery of group services for autistic children and young people, ensuring high-quality, holistic support.
- Coordinate and oversee group activities, ensuring they are well-planned, inclusive, and meet the diverse needs of participants.
- Provide supervision, support, and performance management to support workers and leaders within the group services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure services are running at full capacity, including proactive recruitment and advertising.
- Monitor and analyse service quality and performance, implementing improvements and ensuring compliance with organisational standards and safeguarding policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading groups, particularly in youth and play work settings.
- Strong background in supporting autistic individuals with complex needs, utilising specific strategies for communication and sensory differences.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of adapting to various audiences including service users, families, and external agencies.
- Knowledge of safeguarding principles and experience conducting risk assessments.
- Proficient in Office 365 & Excel, with strong overall IT skills.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter, as well as part of a team.
