Service & Commissioning Engineer - Premier Engineering : Job Details

JOB – Service & Commissioning Engineer  LOCATION – Greater Manchester  TERM - Permanent SALARY - £40,000 - £48,000 per annum. A Greater Manchester based Engineering company are currently looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Service & Commissioning Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 

• HNC Electrical Engineering qualifications or relevant discipline.
• Good understanding of PLCs.
• Previous experience in a Manufacturing/ Automation environment.
• Good understanding of both electrical & mechanical engineering.
• Willing to travel & work aboard when required.

The Service & Commissioning Engineer’s duties will involve:

• Servicing, calibration & commissioning of machinery & equipment.
• Providing support to other engineers & project managers when required.
• Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
