Service Charge Accountant - Forge Talent : Job Details

Forge Talent have been instructed on the search for a Service Charge Accountant for a well-established property business based in Manchester. Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, you will be given full autonomy to fulfil your role as required with plenty of support as needed. This position will be a fixed term contract for 12 months. Duties of the role include-

Service Charge Accounting

• Reconciliation of independently prepared accounts/reports
• Production of Service Charge accounts from independently prepared reports
• External liaison with Property Managers and Client Accounting
• Assisting with complex queries from Property Managers
• Providing detailed breakdown of expenditure items
• Calculation of year end journals including accruals and prepayments
• Production of year end certificates and explanations with final accounts
• Working to deadlines
• Assisting directors in the understanding of the service charge accounts
• Attending AGMs and other meetings with clients as required
