Our client is a leading provider of fire safety solutions and services, specialising in designing, installing, and maintaining fire suppression systems for Petro-chem, Power Gen, and industrial customers.

As they continue to grow, they are in search of a skilled and dedicated Fire Systems Service and Installation Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• The Fire Systems Service Engineer will install, configure, and service fire pumps and foam suppression systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• They will conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of fire systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire systems, performing necessary repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on fire system operations and maintenance.
• Prepare accurate documentation, including service reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergency service requests.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should possess a technical qualification in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in installing, servicing, or maintaining diesel and plant equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are a must.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel to client sites as required.
