Serious Injury and Clinical Negligence Solicitor - Sacco Mann : Job Details

Our client is a highly rated firm based in Manchester who are looking for an experienced Solicitor to take the lead on high-value personal injury and clinical negligence cases. This is an excellent opportunity to handle serious and catastrophic injury claims, including brain, spinal, amputation and complex medical negligence cases within a growing legal practice.

As a Serious Injury and Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will:

• Manage a caseload of serious and catastrophic injury claims (EL/PL, RTA, Clinical Negligence) from inception to settlement or trial.
• Analyse complex medical and legal issues to determine liability and quantum.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, part 35 questions and schedules of loss.
• Secure early interim payments and ensure rehabilitation is fast and effective. 7
• Collaborate closely with medical experts, case managers, counsel and other specialists.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide clear legal strategy, manage expectations, and maintain trust.
• Maximise billings while delivering outstanding client care.
• Support and coach junior colleagues; contribute to firm-wide knowledge sharing.

What we're looking for:

• Recent experience of handling multi-track personal injury and clinical negligence cases.
• A solid track record of meeting billing targets and delivering excellent results.
• Strong communication and client-care skills, confident dealing with vulnerable clients.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage files profitably.
