Coventry | £27k - 35k dependent on experience | Hybrid Working (2 days office, 3 remote)

Are you an experienced SEO professional looking for variety, ownership and the chance to make a real impact across a broad range of brands?

We’re HeadRed, a digital communications agency in Coventry with over 25 years of experience helping local and national businesses grow online. We’re now looking for a client-focused SEO Account Manager to join our growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves both the technical and strategic side of SEO and enjoys working closely with clients to deliver measurable results.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and implement SEO strategies across multiple clients
• Conduct technical SEO audits and on-site optimisations
• Perform keyword research and competitor analysis
• Coordinate content, email, and social activity to support campaigns
• Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush or Screaming Frog to track and report on performance
• Manage relationships with clients, understanding their goals and proactively communicating results
• Stay on top of the latest SEO trends, algorithms and best practices

What we’re looking for:

• Ideally 3 years hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency environment
• Proven track record managing client accounts and delivering results
• Comfortable with technical SEO audits and tools (Screaming Frog, GSC, etc.)
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using Google Analytics
• Great communicator – able to explain SEO to both tech-savvy and non-technical clients
• Good writing and content editing skills
• Experience with WordPress or Shopify a bonus
