New Vacancy - Senior Wordings SpecialistCity of London | Hybrid Lloyd's InsurerHFG are currently recruiting for a reputable Lloyd's Insurer who are seeking a Senior Wordings Specialist to join their growing team.My client is looking for someone with strong wordings experience, ideally within Property and Casualty on a Reinsurance basis. The role will entail looking at mainly English wordings and some German so the successful candidate should know some German, however not a requirement. They are also looking for someone who is a qualified Solicitor or Barrister too.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for wording issues within treaty and facultative reinsurance business within our international P&C division.
• Evaluate proposed wordings for compliance with internal guidelines, clarity, accuracy, and completeness, making necessary amendments and providing explanations to underwriters, client managers, and claims handlers.
• Create new clauses and wordings when necessary.
• Assist in identifying new risks and adjusting wordings requirements accordingly.
• Share expertise with internal and external clients through workshops, training sessions, and briefing notes.
• Participate in developing market standard wordings through trade association involvement.
• Contribute to peer review process.
• Act as acting Head of Wordings in International P&C when necessary.
