The Role

As a Senior Planner, you'll work with a diverse range of public and private sector clients, helping deliver planning solutions that shape communities across the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a variety of planning projects across sectors such as residential, commercial, retail, education, energy, and infrastructure

  • Preparing and submitting planning applications, ensuring compliance with policy and regulation

  • Engaging with stakeholders, local authorities, and communities to support and advocate for projects

  • Conducting assessments to support Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and managing EIA projects from inception to completion

  • Staying up to date with planning legislation and policy changes

  • Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues as part of a collaborative team

About You

We're looking for a motivated and ambitious planner with:

  • A relevant degree and minimum 3 years' experience in planning

  • Chartered RTPI status (or working towards it)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong project management capabilities with a proactive, problem-solving approach

  • Experience in consultancy or EIA management (desirable)

  • Commitment to sustainable and responsible development
