Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading UK consultancy with the hire of a Senior Town Planner to join their successful Bristol team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected firm known for delivering high-quality planning advice across a wide range of sectors.

The RoleAs a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering a diverse mix of planning projects. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing, submitting, and managing planning applications and appeals.

• Undertaking site appraisals, development plan representations, and planning research.

• Providing professional planning advice to clients across sectors such as residential, commercial, retail, and infrastructure.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.

• Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues while contributing to the growth of the team.

About YouWe are seeking a motivated planning professional with:

• RTPI Chartership (or working towards).

• 3-6 years' planning experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.

• Strong understanding of the UK planning system and relevant legislation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Commercial awareness and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

• A proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery.
