Renault Manchester seeks a Senior Technician to join our dealership’s workshop. Immediate start available!

Duties will include carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repairs of cars and vans across the Renault and Dacia ranges as well as vehicles from other makes and manufacturers.

The selected candidate will have

• Recent vehicle repair, service and maintenance experience with a main dealer or independent garage
• Accredited main dealer technician qualifications
• Qualified to IMI Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Hold a full UK Driver’s licence.

This role operates 40 hours per week, with a choice of shift that can be either 8am to 4:45pm, 8:15am to 5pm or 9:15am to 6pm; each with 30-minute lunch break and 15-minute tea break. 1-in-4 Saturday morning overtime on rota 8:30am to 12:30pm, paid at time-and-a-half.

In return we offer a basic salary of £37,246 per annum. This comprises £36,000 pa for weekday work + £1,246 pa for 1-in-4 Saturday mornings paid at time-and-a-half. We operate a monthly efficiency bonus that is paid on top of this which add circa £4,000-£6,000 pa to your earnings.

To enhance your earnings further, weekday overtime is occasionally available paid at plain time and additional Saturday overtime beyond the core 1-in-4 is available on request and paid at time-and-a-half.
