Senior Technical Pensions Specialist - ARC : Job Details

• Job Title/Location: Senior Technical Pensions Specialist, London or Remote
• Salary: To £50,000
• Office/WFH: Either office based 2 days p/w in London & 3 days p/w WFH, or Remote
• Requirements: Strong DB and/or DC pensions knowledge, ideally experience in a similar role, the ability to understand complex documentation & experience of delivering projects
• Role Snapshot: Provide technical pensions guidance & expertise to operational teams, be responsible for knowledge capture for new clients through the implementation process provide technical projects input & guidance.

The Role: The Senior Technical Pensions Specialist acts as the first point of reference for complex technical pensions queries and issues referred by the various areas of the business, including the Service Delivery Team, Client Relationship Managers and the Client Projects Team. Key responsibilities include:

• Escalate queries as appropriate to your Manager or your external technical support partner.
• Be responsible for maintaining the technical query log to track themes & precedents; escalate cases as appropriate & manage to resolution.
• Prioritise knowledge acquisition based on client requirements and delivery of an efficient and accurate technical solution into the Service Delivery Team.
• Engage with the wider business, translating scheme knowledge into requirements & solutions.
• Test, review and sign off delivered solutions to ensure their compliance with general or scheme specific pensions technical requirements
• Identify enhancements to processes or staff training needs, and as required support the development of written procedures and pensions technical training

Skills / Experience Required: For this Senior Technical Pensions Specialist role you must strong DB and/or DC knowledge, ideally from a similar role. You should possess strong communication skills, be able to understand complex documentation & issues, translating these in an easily understood manner, be highly numerate with experience in delivering projects.

Additional Information: Salary for the Senior Technical Pensions Specialist role is to £50,000 professional study support & company pension. The average working week is 2 days office & 3 days WFH.
