Are you a highly skilled and analytical Senior Technical Paraplanner looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a talented individual to join a growing financial planning firm based in Liverpool. This is a hybrid role, offering you the flexibility to work from both the office and home.

This isn't just about "tick-box" planning or product sales. We are looking for a Senior Technical Paraplanner who wants to be the analytical force behind financial advice that is rooted in real lives and long-term impact. This is a background role, where your precision and expertise will be used to protect the integrity of advice and ensure outstanding client outcomes.

As a Senior Technical Paraplanner, you will be responsible for the analysis, advice design, and suitability reporting for complex financial plans. You will collaborate closely with financial planners and other team members, but your focus will be on the technical framework, not client meetings.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting fact finds, cashflows, and meeting notes to identify planning opportunities and construct advice frameworks.
• Carrying out deep technical analysis across pensions, tax planning, protection, and investments.
• Leading the creation of suitability reports, including initial, ongoing, and ad hoc reports.
• Project managing implementation cases through to sign-off.
• Preparing technical summaries, recommendation matrices, and investment comparisons.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Paraplanner who:

• Takes pride in precision and gets satisfaction from solving complex puzzles.
• Prefers deep work over distractions and enjoys owning a case through to delivery
• Is Level 4 qualified and is actively working toward Chartered or CFP status.
• Is naturally skeptical and will chase down anything that doesn’t make sense.
• Enjoys collaborating with financial planners but is not looking to become one.
