Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting for Senior Support Worker for a NEW Childrens' Residential Homes.

The Senior Support Worker would have an opportunity to join a leading group offering therapeutic care and education services for children and young people in a brand-new provision.

The role would be ideal for a Senior Support worker or an experienced Children's Support Worker looking for a new and rewarding career challenge in a growing organisation'

The Senior Support Worker you would be able to work flexibly covering long day shifts, weekends and sleeps.

As a Senior Support Worker you would be required to:

  • Work with the team to promote and support the young people in our care in leading a life of positive development by providing a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Ensure the day-to-day management is facilitated in a professional and competent manner and support the Service Manager in providing the best quality care.
  • Lead a team along with other professionals, to provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child.
  • Record events and observations, progress reports, preparing and implementing care plans and records
  • You will act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change.

As a Senior Support Worker you would meet the following requirements:

  • Gained at least 1 year experience in a Children's Residential Care Home
  • Obtained a level 3 Qualification in Caring for Children and Young People
  • Have great communication skills, naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
