Location: Horsham, West SussexSalary: £46,148 - £52,809 FTE (dependent on experience) + £1/hour location allowanceHours: 30 hours per weekContract Type: Part-Time, PermanentFlexible working hours available

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Specialist Physiotherapist to join a multi-disciplinary team at a residential neurorehabilitation centre in Horsham. The service supports adults with acquired brain injuries through individually tailored, evidence-based rehabilitation programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist with strong clinical reasoning and leadership skills to take the next step in their career and contribute to a well-established, person-centred rehabilitation model.

The Role:
  • Provide physiotherapy within a multi/interdisciplinary team following neurobehavioural and neurorestorative models

  • Undertake comprehensive neurological assessments and formulate evidence-based treatment plans

  • Lead complex case discussions and contribute specialist input to clinical problem-solving

  • Provide supervision and support to students, assistants, and junior physiotherapy colleagues

  • Take a lead role in a specialist area within the physiotherapy team (agreed with clinical lead)

  • Support development of high-quality therapy provision in line with clinical governance and best practice

Requirements:
  • Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)

  • HCPC registration (essential)

  • At least 4 years post-registration experience, with 2+ years in neurological rehabilitation or a related field

  • Strong understanding of neurorehabilitation and physiotherapy principles in complex care

  • Experience in delivering and adapting therapy plans based on evolving clinical needs

  • Confident in supervising, mentoring, and contributing to professional development of colleagues

  • Driving licence and willingness to drive service users in unit vehicles

  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including occasional overnight stays
