MASH Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a dedicated MASH Senior Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. This pivotal role involves working collaboratively with various agencies to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns, ensuring the protection of children and young people from harm. You will be instrumental in gathering and analysing information, making informed decisions, and coordinating timely interventions.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Collaborate with multiple agencies to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns.
- Gather and analyse information to make informed decisions about the welfare of children and young people.
- Coordinate timely interventions to ensure the safety and protection of children.
- Build strong relationships with children, their families, colleagues, and partner agencies.
- Support families to make positive changes and enable children to meet their potential.
- Write high-quality assessments and focus on supporting families to resolve their challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BA or MA in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children and families, preferably as a qualified social worker.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Resilience and motivation to handle the demands of the role.
