We're looking for a skilled Adult Social Worker to support adults aged 18+ with physical disabilities in the Staffordshire Moorlands area. You'll be working with a diverse client group including people experiencing self-neglect, substance misuse, and complex safeguarding needs.

• ? Manage and complete Section 42 safeguarding enquiries.

• ? Support adults with complex self-neglect cases.

• ? Work with individuals affected by substance misuse.

• ? Apply knowledge of Mental Capacity Act (MCA), Care Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) effectively.

• ? Collaborate closely with the Moorlands ASC Team and multi-agency partners.

• Role: 1 x Band 6 Qualified Social Worker

• Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday

• Shift: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch break)

• Base:Cottage WardLeek Moorlands HospitalAshbourne RoadLeek, Staffordshire, ST13 5BQ

• Contract Length: Initially 3 months with possibility to extend

• Line Manager: Faye Egalton, Practice Lead ASC Moorlands Team 1
