Senior SAP Solutions Architect - CFIN Project

This is a contract role, paying an excellent day rate (outside of IR35 friendly) and it is a 12-18 month Hybrid contract with 2-3 days per week required on site.

You must have extensive experience in lead Enterprise Architect roles on large scale, multi-year implementations.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior SAP Enterprise Architect to join our team, focusing on a Central Finance (CFIN) implementation project. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in comprehensive SAP implementations and extensive experience in integrating Central Finance with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engagement with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective SAP and Central Finance architectural solutions.
• Architectural Leadership: Lead the architectural design of the SAP solution, ensuring alignment with business goals, industry standards, and best practices.
• CFIN and Integration Proficiency: Provide deep expertise in SAP functionalities, particularly Central Finance, ensuring smooth integration with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and legacy systems.
• Solution Development: Create detailed solution designs, blueprints, and strategic roadmaps to meet business needs while allowing for future growth and flexibility.
• Project Implementation: Oversee project teams to ensure successful implementation, including system configuration, customization, and integration activities.
• Technical Evaluation: Perform technical assessments and offer recommendations to solve complex implementation challenges.
• Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors and partners to harness additional expertise and resources as necessary.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members, offering guidance on SAP and Central Finance best practices and concepts.
• Industry Trends: Stay informed on the latest trends and technologies in the SAP and ERP domains, evaluating their potential impact on the organization.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Over 7 years of SAP ERP implementation experience, focusing on full project lifecycles.
• Architectural Proficiency: Demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Architect on multiple ERP projects in complex enterprise settings.
• SAP Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of SAP and Central Finance architectures, functionalities, and modules.
• Integration Capabilities: Strong understanding of integration principles and experience with SAP system integrations.
• Analytical Ability: Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to develop innovative solutions for business challenges.
• Communication Skills: Effective at managing stakeholders and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the retail sector is a plus.
• Certifications: Preferred SAP certification(s) in relevant modules or technologies.
