We’re working with a well-established and respected business in a male-dominated, trade-focused industry, who are looking to appoint a Senior Sales Administrator to join their tight-knit team. This is a key role requiring strong communication skills, a cool head under pressure, and the ability to de-escalate tricky conversations with professionalism and empathy.

This position would suit someone with experience in customer service or sales administration, particularly in a setting where they’ve had to deal with challenging clients or complaints. Supervisory experience would be a strong advantage and will be reflected in the higher end of the salary range.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process sales orders received via email and internal systems, ensuring prompt acknowledgements

• Monitor and allocate orders, updating customers on lead times and any delays

• Handle incoming issues and complaints from trade customers and retailers calmly and efficiently

• Maintain accurate records of complaints, technical issues, and deliveries

• Liaise with internal teams including Credit Control and Warehouse regarding customer accounts and stock dispatch

• Generate reports on customer order status

• Oversee bespoke order processes via the factory platform

• Manage a high-volume inbox with attention to accuracy and response time

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Sales Administrator (essential)

• B2B or retail account customer service experience (preferred)

• Strong problem-solving and complaint-handling ability

• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

• A resilient, calm, and diplomatic communicator, able to diffuse tension and retain customer loyalty

• Familiarity with order processing systems and Microsoft Office

• Supervisory experience or a desire to take on more responsibility is a real bonus
