Senior Retail Projects Manager - Blue Square : Job Details

ARE YOU THE ONE?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Retail Projects Manager to lead project innovation within the go-to-market (GTM) function, playing a pivotal role in continuing to shape the retail landscape for Samsung Mobile. 

Managing a team of four, you will oversee the execution of both retail and experiential projects within the Samsung estate to enhance the brand presence, drive sales and create exceptional customer experiences. 

Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners, you will ensure the successful implementation of retail initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the Samsung Mobile Experience retail strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Monitor and lead end-to-end project management for retail initiatives, from concept development to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.

Responsible for the wrap up and closure of all projects within the team including, outputs, lessons learnt, overall budget expenditure and return on investment

RETAIL STRATEGY

Contribute to the development of the overall retail strategy, aligning projects with the mobile experience (MX) business goals and objectives.

Lead the creation of project proposals in collaboration with cross-functional account teams, addressing project scope, timelines, resource and budget requirements.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION 

Work closely with internal team members in the GTM function plus other internal teams such as marketing, sales, and product design to align retail projects with the broader business strategies.

Build and maintain effective relationships with external vendors and partners.

TEAM LEADERSHIP 

Lead, mentor, and inspire your team of retail projects professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. 

Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to achieve their professional goals and develop their projects skills.

ARE YOU OUR PERFECT PARTNER?

• You’re an experienced project manager within the retail industry, preferably in the technology or mobile sector
• You’re a strong leader with demonstratable experience of leading a team of project managers
• You’re an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills 
• You’re able to manage risk and communicate at all levels, including to more senior stakeholders
• You’re familiar with retail trends with a keen understanding of customer experience
• You hold a a full UK valid driver’s licence
• You’re a qualified project manager
