Senior Residential Support Worker – Children’s Home

£14 – £15.25 (NVQ 3) or £15.50 (Level 4/5)

Full-time, permanent

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a wonderful children’s home in Radcliffe. Using your experience and knowledge you’ll be supporting a team of Residential Support Workers to deliver consistent care and guidance to children with emotional and behavioural needs. You’ll empower the young people to make positive choices whilst ensuring they benefit from a safe and nurturing environment.

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, working a 2 on / 3–4 off shift pattern with regular sleep-ins.

• £14 – £15.25 per hour with NVQ Level 3
• £15.50 per hour with Level 4 or 5
• Permanent 40 hour contract
• Sleep-ins paid at £60

What they’re looking for:

• A minimum of NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare
• Previous experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader
• Experience in regulated children’s residential care
• Confident leading shifts and supporting junior staff – and the ability to lead by example
• Someone calm, consistent and reliable
• Ideally holds a manual driving licence
• Aged 22 or above (to meet Ofsted regs)
