Senior Qualified Social Worker – Safeguarding Team??West Midlands??£33 per hour | Agency Role | Immediate StartAre you a passionate and experienced Social Worker ready to make a lasting impact in safeguarding children and families? We’re looking for a Senior Qualified Social Worker to join a dynamic and dedicated Safeguarding Team in the West Midlands. The Role:As part of the Safeguarding Team, you will:

• Complete robust risk assessments and identify protection needs for children and families.
• Manage a varied and complex caseload, often involving Child Protection, CIN, and Court work.
• Lead safeguarding investigations, develop care plans, and drive timely interventions.
• Work in partnership with agencies to deliver coordinated, child-focused outcomes.
• Provide support and guidance to less experienced staff and social work students.
• Champion best practice and ensure children’s voices are central to your work.

? About You:We’re looking for someone with:

• A Social Work degree (or equivalent) and registration with Social Work England
• 4+ years of post-qualifying experience in children’s safeguarding and statutory work
• Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding procedures
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with families and professionals
• A creative, reflective and resilient mindset – always striving for the best outcomes
• Confidence in multi-agency working and complex decision-making
• Excellent communication, mediation and negotiation skills
