A leading financial services business are looking for a Senior QA Tester to join their testing team during an exciting period of digital transformation. Based in Liverpool, they're embarking on a major replatforming project to modernise their core systems and public-facing website, requiring skilled testing expertise to ensure seamless delivery.

The Role

They're looking for an experienced Senior QA Tester to take ownership of manual testing activities across their web-based applications and integrated systems. You'll be working within a close-knit, flexible team of testers, focusing on critical business platforms that handle complex data processing, file integrations, and financial calculations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about quality assurance who wants to contribute to a major system transformation in the financial services sector.

What you'll need:

• Minimum 3-4 years of manual testing experience
• Strong background in web application testing, particularly frontend workflows
• Proven experience testing file upload functionality and Excel data formatting
• Solid understanding of API testing principles and practices
• Experience working with finance system integrations and data calculations
• Background in agile testing methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills for working with business analysts on testing scope
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives

Nice to haves:

• Financial Services industry experience
• Previous exposure to administration systems
• Understanding of regulatory compliance testing
• Experience with spreadsheet data validation and processing
