Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Portsmouth (Hybrid working model)

Salary: Between £55k-£70k

Job Type: Permanent, Monday-Friday

The Role

My client is seeking a well experienced Senior Project Manager to join a fast-paced team delivering software solutions for some of the biggest financial services institutions. The successful candidate will be able, as well as responsible for the delivery of a strategic programme of work to one of the firm's biggest clients. The successful candidate would have experience managing Agile software projects.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To understand the business requirements of the project and to be able to define resource and deliverable requirements and plan to be able to deliver the project.
• Act as the primary point of contact with the customer and to be able to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
• To be able to manage key project risks as well as issues and dependencies.
• To set priorities and to manage as well as monitor the delivery teams, ensuring effective delivery of the project to the time, quality, and cost expectations.
• To lead both customer and internal meetings. (Sprint Planning, etc…)
• To prepare project documentation as well a revenue forecasts and general statements of work.

The Candidate

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience of project management experience whilst managing multiple projects at the same time.
• Experience in both the software and financial services industries
• A proven track record of successful software project delivery through the full project lifecycle
• A solid background in Agile software development as well as it's principles and using project tools like Azure DevOps
• To be able to manage cross-disciplined teams (Business Analysts, Developers and Testers)
