Senior Programme Manager - Reed : Job Details

The Greater London Authority are seeking a Senior Programme Manager to join the Resilience Unit on an interim 3-month basis. This position offers the opportunity to lead, manage, and coordinate comprehensive programme activities, ensuring robust performance management, financial oversight, and effective project implementation in support of the London Resilience Forum (LRF).

Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Manage the delivery of an early- stage project, ensuring close collaboration with project leads and corporate functions to oversee performance and manage risks.
• Establish and maintain appropriate monitoring arrangements at both programme and project levels, liaising with senior colleagues.
• Lead forums to monitor performance, providing oversight to the programme and submitting reports on performance and financial matters as necessary.
• Support project leads with delivery and performance monitoring, fostering a culture of flexible and collaborative working across multi-disciplinary, cross-departmental, and cross-organisational groups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven professional experience and expertise in overseeing project/programme management.
• Demonstrated success in leading and managing projects in a multi-disciplinary environment with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in using project and programme management tools and techniques to enable effective delivery and project controls.
• Skilled in analysing and presenting project data and information to support project governance.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging and aligning stakeholders to ensure collaborative working.
