Production & Logistics Planner - Offsite Manufacturing (Light Gauge Steel)Location: Stockton-On-TeesSalary: Competitive + Annual Bonus + Career Progression

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production & Logistics Planner to join a busy off site manufacturing operation specialising in Light Gauge Steel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules, managing logistics, optimising material use, and ensuring that all operations from LGS roll forming to plasma works, press brake, and guillotine activities run efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate daily production plans, including volumes, run rates and WIP, and communicate them clearly to the production team.

• Book vehicles via online portals and produce load plans and delivery notes.

• Monitor and communicate any material or labour shortages to the wider business.

• Record and report key production data such as service levels, waste, and adherence to WIP targets.

• Liaise with third-party haulage companies to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any transport issues.

• Maintain records and archives to support audits.

• Attend daily production and project meetings.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within an off site manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge and experience of Light Gauge Steel manufacturing (essential).

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Intermediate Excel skills and strong IT/database knowledge.
