The RoleThis is a full time, permanent position working in a well established procurement team. The senior procurement role will have coverage of multiple categories and duties will include:
- Managing the end to end procurement process from spec to tender through to contract award and contract management
- Supplier contract management, relationship management and performance management
- Project management of key strategic procurement projects
- Identify and reduce non-compliant spend
- Negotiate and influence key stakeholders in the delivery of compliant contracts to ensure the best value for money

The IndividualThe successful Senior Procurement Officer will have/be:
- Extensive category management-, planning-, project planning experience essential
- CIPS qualifications and/or PCR procurement experience ideal
- Strengths in relationship management, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills essential.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Extensive tender management experience
- Strong commerciality and dynamism - proven track record of delivering value for money
