Senior Pricing Analyst - Ambition Europe Limited : Job Details

Are you a commercially minded finance professional with a passion for pricing strategy? One of my top law firm clients are looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join their Finance team and play a key role in shaping pricing decisions and driving commercial success across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, influence strategic decisions, and contribute to winning client pitches and negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse data and market trends to identify commercial pricing solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Partners to support client pitches and develop optimal pricing strategies.
• Model and test fee arrangements to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Maintain and review a database of ongoing fee arrangements, recommending timely revisions.
• Monitor legal market pricing trends and propose innovative approaches.
• Benchmark rates using internal and external data to optimise pricing.
• Prepare pricing performance reports for senior stakeholders.
• Deliver commercial awareness training to fee earners and Partners.
• Support the annual budgeting process for designated practice areas.
• Undertake ad hoc duties as required.

Skills & Experience:

• Significant pricing experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA, or equivalent qualification beneficial but no prerequisite.
• Strong commercial acumen and numeracy.
• Proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Customer-focused and responsive.
