Senior Practice Accountant - TPF Recruitment : Job Details

TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Paddock Wood, who are looking for a Senior Practice Accountant to join their experienced team in a general practice capacity across accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT. Our client is willing to build the position around the candidates experience and aspirations.

As a Senior Practice Accountant, you will report directly into the partners and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up of small business owners through to billionaires. You will be based in an amazing office in a rural location in Paddock Wood and also have the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. You will be responsible for:

• Prepare and review annual statutory accounts, corporation, partnership and personal tax returns.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns.
• Managing your client portfolio and client relations.
• Oversee and review the work of more junior staff and bookkeepers.
• Onboard new clients and assist the partners with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation work as required.

Senior Practice Accountant Paddock Wood

• You will be qualified, or studying  ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience with at least 3-5 years’ experience within practice.
• You will have worked as a Semi Senior or Senior Accountant within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts, ideally management accounts, tax and VAT.

Senior Practice Accountant Paddock Wood

• £40,000 - £50,000, based on experience
