Senior Payroll Officer
Location: Sleaford/Hybrid
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for an experienced and detail orientated Senior Payroll Officer to join an award-winning organisation in Sleaford. As Senior Payroll Officer, you will take the lead in managing and optimising client’s payroll processes. You will play a vital role in ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

The role of the Senior Payroll Officer
- Process monthly payroll including pensions uploads, FPS and EPS processing
- Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations e.g. Tax/HMRC
- Year End processes; ensure all year end processes are complete e.g. holiday, tax
- Processing all payroll changes (new starters, leavers, overtime, SMP, SSP, etc)
- Preparing all necessary reports from the payroll and HR systems, running the payroll calculations and preparation of the BACs payments
- Supporting the team with the completion of the on-boarding process, monitoring and reporting on the submission of all new starter paperwork
- Produce regular or ad hoc data and reports, as required or requested
- Continuously evaluate and improve payroll systems and processes
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Payroll Officer
- Extensive payroll experience with excellent technical skills
- Experience of developing and implementing payroll software
- HR administration and accounts administration experience is preferred, but not essential
