As a future Senior Operational Due Diligence Analyst, you will report to AXA IM Select Head of Operational Due Diligence / Investment COO, and you will be part of AXA IM Select. DISCOVER your opportunity Under the direction of the Head of ODD within AXA IM Select (Select) the Senior Operational Due Diligence Analyst is responsible for leading, reporting and presenting on Operational Due Diligence of the Delegated Managers and Fund/Mandates that Select include as investments or recommend to advisory clients. The Senior Operational Due Diligence Analyst is specifically responsible for supporting appropriate good practice of due diligence performed on managers and funds, performing due diligence visits to third party fund managers that Select has appointed under an IMA, for producing an 18 months report on each of these managers, conducting annual testing of a wide range of dimensions (including but not limited to regulatory requirements) as well conducting quarterly best execution reviews of Select segregated portfolios. Your role and responsibilities will include: • Lead in the running and performance of the AXA IM Select Manager, Fund and ESG Operational Due Diligence Program. • Prepare operational due diligence reports and present any findings from reviews to the Global ODD Committee and Investment team. • Work with our Head of ODD to liaise and collaborate with the investment team with regards to the schedule of reviews • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and oversee media screening tool for the identification of Managers potential issues • Ensure that adequate action is taken to resolve escalated risk and issues in respect of manager, fund and ESG due diligence, in a timely manner and ensure reasonable steps are taken to prevent recurrence through accessing experts, as appropriate, and applying a commercial and business perspective to the recommended responses. • Work closely with Front Office, Investment Risk and Performance, Compliance and Product professionals in Select and other members of the risk team across the Select Hub. • Assist in key projects in order to improve and build out current processes. • Support other Departments as required. QualificationsSHARE your unique expertise We welcome different combinations of skills & experiences. Your qualifications and experience: • Experience of the Investment Management industry and associated products, leading to an in-depth understanding of the business model and associated risks. • Previous experience in a Multi Manager or Fund of Funds. • Knowledge of UCITS and MIFID regulatory requirements and their practical application. • Knowledge and experience of ODD due diligence work as well as ESG due diligence • Knowledge and experience of due diligence work. • Currently or previous experience in performing due diligence work, with a fund of hedge funds, non-hedge fund operational due diligence, audit or compliance monitoring background. Your knowledge and skills: • Excellent influencing, facilitation, negotiating and communication skills (written, oral and presentational skills) • The ability to challenge all levels of staff and management. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and understand complex issues and advise on solutions across business areas with the application of critical judgement. • Due diligence/Compliance monitoring/Audit/controls testing experience • Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines. • Self drive, proactive and highly motivated. • Computer literate, with good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. • Language skills (French) a bonus but not requirement.
