Priory Hospital Roehampton is looking to recruit a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the team on our CAMHS Eating Disorder ward. Priory Hospital Roehampton offers calming and recovery-focused residential treatment for up to 100 service users, as well as day care and outpatient services. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours.At Roehampton, you’ll be supported by a compassionate team of psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, nurses and mental health professionals who are committed to your wellbeing. As a Senior Occupational Therapist (CAMHS Eating Disorders) , you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

What you'll bring to the roleOur work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.The ideal candidate will have experience working in an inpatient mental health setting or in a similar role, with the ability to complete initial assessments and checklists. They will have facilitated groups such as psycho-educational sessions, DBT-informed interventions, goal setting, or life skills. A proven track record of contributing insight to multidisciplinary teams and supporting formulations is essential. While working towards an Occupational Therapy qualification to degree level or equivalent would be desirable, it is not essential. Additional skills or training in Autism, DBT, or life skills would also be advantageous.
