Senior Mechanical Engineer required by my client a world leader in the superyacht industry . This is a temporary position, ideal for those with extensive expertise in mechanical design, specifically within marine engineering.

• Developing and designing mechanical systems for marine projects
• Creating detailed mechanical drawings and specifications
• Reviewing and validating designs to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Collaborating with other engineering disciplines to integrate system designs
• Conducting technical analysis and simulations to optimise designs
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
• Managing project timelines and deliverables to meet client requirements
• Ensuring the quality and integrity of mechanical designs through rigorous testing and inspections

• Experience in mechanical design engineering within the marine sector
• Proficiency in using BAE-Mechanical designer software
• Strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices
• Ability to develop and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
