Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Electro-mechanical & Enclosures Location: Milton KeynesSalary: £50k-£60k Are you a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer with a flair for problem-solving and development? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company known for developing high-performance electro-mechanical solutions for use in rugged and mission-critical environments.

You’ll work on the full lifecycle of mechanical design projects, from requirements capture to final product delivery. Projects range from modifying existing products to full ground-up system designs. You’ll be responsible for developing robust enclosures, consoles and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:+ Develop mechanical systems and assemblies for high-performance products+ Create 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings+ Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams + Support prototyping, testing, and fault-finding+ Participate in design reviews and apply best practices

Key Requirements:+ Previously taken a product from a concept to production + Solid knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding & coating technologies + Strong proficiency in 3D CAD design (Inventor/Solidworks) + Have an understanding of FEA & CFD+ Previously designed products for rugged environments
