Senior Marketing Officer– Guildford, Surrey

£45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits

We are recruiting for a fabulous opportunity, a Senior Marketing Officer to join a leading healthcare company. The Senior Marketing Officer will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic promotion of the company’s products to healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders.

The role combines direct sales activities with marketing initiatives to build brand presence, customer loyalty and market share. The ideal candidate will be degree educated or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field and have a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Marketing

• Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns (digital, print, event-based).
• Support in the development of promotional materials, including brochures, case studies and digital content.
• Coordinate and represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
• Contribute to brand development strategies, product launches and competitive analysis.
• Monitor and report on marketing effectiveness and ROI.

Sales

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Trusts, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals.
• Build strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Provide product demonstrations, clinical training, and ongoing support.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to key stakeholders.

In this role you will work closely with internal teams, including R&D, logistics and customer service, to ensure smooth operations. You will gather market intelligence and feedback to inform product development and strategy and ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry standards.

Essential

• Proven track record in marketing and sales, preferably within the medical devices or healthcare sector.
• Strong knowledge of the procurement processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable with data analysis and using CRM systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience with internationalisation strategies in marketing, particularly within healthcare or diagnostics.
• Digital marketing knowledge (SEO, email campaigns, social media).
• Clinical or technical background to support product understanding.
