Senior Management Accountant - Aatom Recruitment : Job Details

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant on a 6 months contract initially with a possibility of further extension.

• Completion of government returns (RO, RA, QRU)
• Excel skills - pivot tables, formulas, working with large volume data sets
• Report Writing
• Experience in a Strategic Finance, rather than management accountant
• Experience in collection fund accounting

Interview will be online by Teams. Interviewers will be held by Finance Manager and Head of Strategy on 3rd July. The candidate will be sent an exercise and instructions at least 2 days before to test their interpretation of financial data skills. This will consist of a spreadsheet of budget monitoring data which needs to be summarised and input onto a different excel template. Candidates will be asked to begin the interview by presenting this data. There will follow some questions to ascertain the candidate's experience and suitability for the role.
