Senior Management Accountant - Halliday Marx : Job Details

Halliday Marx have partnered with a growing Consultancy Firm to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis.Reporting into the FC and working closely alongside the CFO you will oversee the finance function and your key duties will include, but not be limited too;

• Assist with the preparation of the annual statutory and group accounts
• Complete the monthly management accounts
• Present the monthly group accounts to the FC, including detailed commentary
• Manage two accountants including training and development
• Ownership of the weekly cashflow reporting
• Prepare VAT and other tax submissions
• Support with timesheets and cover monthly payroll
• Assist with the preparation of KPI's and regular management information
• Support and assist with companies commissions calculations
• Adhoc duties and support as required

The Successful Candidate;

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Demonstrable experience within a fast paced consultancy environment
• Previous experience managing a small team would be desirable
• Excellent communication skills and must be able to deal with senior stakeholders across the business
• Deadline driven, must be able to manage a tight workload and work to tight deadlines
• Excellent excel skillset
• Strong sense of humour, personable and works well in a team environment
