Senior Property Litigation Solicitor (7+ years PQE)

Location: Finchley Central, London (N3)Hybrid Working: 3 days remote per week (subject to agile working policy)Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (1-hour lunch)Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (6-month probation)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead your own caseload of property litigation matters from pre-action through to trial, with autonomy and minimal supervision.

  • Provide expert legal advice across departments, focusing on landlord and tenant law, building safety, and regulatory compliance.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to manage risk and resolve disputes efficiently.

  • Liaise with external counsel and manage legal spend with precision.

  • Draft and review legal documents, policies, and agreements.

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to workload allocation.

What You Bring

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (England & Wales) with a current unrestricted practising certificate.

  • Strong academic background and professional credentials.

  • Proven experience in residential landlord & tenant litigation (long leasehold focus).

  • In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and related regulations.

  • Confident advocate with experience in court or tribunal settings.

  • Excellent drafting, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Tech-savvy with intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel.

Desirable Extras:

  • Exposure to conveyancing, property finance, or commercial transactions.

  • Familiarity with GDPR and data protection compliance.
