What You’ll Be Doing
Lead your own caseload of property litigation matters from pre-action through to trial, with autonomy and minimal supervision.
Provide expert legal advice across departments, focusing on landlord and tenant law, building safety, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with senior leadership to manage risk and resolve disputes efficiently.
Liaise with external counsel and manage legal spend with precision.
Draft and review legal documents, policies, and agreements.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to workload allocation.
What You Bring
Essential Skills & Experience:
Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (England & Wales) with a current unrestricted practising certificate.
Strong academic background and professional credentials.
Proven experience in residential landlord & tenant litigation (long leasehold focus).
In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and related regulations.
Confident advocate with experience in court or tribunal settings.
Excellent drafting, communication, and organisational skills.
Tech-savvy with intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel.
Desirable Extras:
Exposure to conveyancing, property finance, or commercial transactions.
Familiarity with GDPR and data protection compliance.
