Interim/FTC Senior Legal Counsel - M&A, Funding, and Investment

About the Role:
Support key corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, funding rounds, and investment activities. Work closely with senior management and external advisers to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage M&A transactions: due diligence, negotiation, documentation
- Provide legal support for funding rounds and investments
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements: shareholder, purchase, joint venture
- Advise on corporate governance and compliance
- Collaborate with external legal advisers
- Support asset and fund management activities
- Oversee legal aspects of corporate projects
- Provide strategic advice on corporate finance and investments
- Assist with capital raising and investor relations
- Develop and implement corporate policies and procedures
- Assist with post-transaction integration and other projects
Location:
Based in Cheltenham, with occasional visits to our London office. Hybrid working available.
About You:
- Qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in corporate law (M&A, funding, investment)
- Strong experience in managing complex M&A transactions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and high standard of service
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Sound judgement and commercial acumen
