Senior IT Engineer - Pure Resourcing Solutions : Job Details

A superb opportunity to join a growing and highly successful businesses on the outskirts of Chelmsford. This is an all round senior IT role supporting a multisite business and working as part of a close-knit team.We are looking for a strong all round IT professional with a hands on approach. Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Be a point of escalation for support desk.
• Manage the timely resolution of open calls and call actions across all companies.
• Take ownership of assigned incidents and manage them through to resolution.
• Ensure that any technical or operational issues on a service ticket are escalated efficiently, liaising with, and managing vendors accordingly.
• Proactively research ideas and concepts to source suitable technical solutions or resolve problems.
• Technical and proactive involvement in various projects, from SharePoint adoption to Co-Pilot integration.
• ‘Hands-on’ approach to problem-solving; solving problems within strict SLA timeframes.
• Provide on-site support for construction sites as and when required.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate ability and desire to go ‘above and beyond’ for our colleagues.

Technical exerience - We are lookign for some not all of this!

• Strong Microsoft Windows Server (2016, 2019 and 2022)
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Administration.
• O365 administration and its complimentary addons (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Flow, Planner, Delve, etc).
• SharePoint migrations and adoption.
• SQL Server Administration and troubleshooting.
• Windows 10 / 11 administration and troubleshooting, along with Windows 10 to 11 migrations.
• Virtualisation troubleshooting (HyperV).
• Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop, ASR, AVD Imaging and Production.
• Advanced Intune / MDM, Autopilot.
• Advanced Networking skills (managed switching, VLAN’s) Meraki and SonicWALL

We are looking for a good communicator with commercial awareness and negotiation skills. Excellent general hardware/software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.On offer is a superb salary plus very good benefits. The role is offered with some hybrid working (3-4 days on site).
