We are now looking to help them find a talented an Senior Interaction Designer (eligible for SC clearance) to get help contribute to its digital transformation. This role involves designing user-centred public services at scale within multidisciplinary teams, aligning with Government Design Principles.

Main Responsibilities:

Design & Develop User-Centred Services:

• Work in agile, cross-functional teams to design and prototype user-focused services. Collaborate with service managers and programme leads, contribute to user research, and create interactions across various channels and technologies. Justify design decisions with evidence and data.

Promote Design Excellence:

• Ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience by using reusable design components and best practices.

Lead & Mentor Designers:

• Support, coach, and develop other designers, focusing on their growth and quality of work. Provide guidance to ensure best practices are followed across the team.

Person Specification - Essential Criteria:

• Experience working in agile, multi-disciplinary teams delivering iterative design work.
• Skilled in creating accessible, user-focused solutions across different channels.
• Ability to produce key design outputs such as user flows, service blueprints, and site maps.
• Proficient in prototyping tools like Figma, GOV.UK Prototype Kit, or Adobe XD.
• Experience conducting usability testing independently or with researchers.
• Strong knowledge of the GOV.UK Design System and Service Manual; able to contribute to and enhance design patterns.
• Active involvement in a design community of practice.
• Proven experience mentoring and coaching designers in user-centred design.

• Full Flexi-Time - Work your 37.5 hours on any schedule between 5am and 10pm
• 25 Days annual leave PLUS Bank Holidays (Increasing to 30 days)
