We are seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join our client who is a leading FMCG company based in Scunthorpe. The Senior HR Advisor will be instrumental in supporting the HR function performing HR-related duties at a professional level. This role involves a range of responsibilities including advising on HR policies and procedures, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and ensuring compliance with employment law.

Day-to-day of the role:
• Support the region with all HR and people-related activities, with an onsite presence and travel to their other sites as and when required.
• Serve as the point of call for employee requests and queries and advising on HR policies and procedures.
• Assist the management team with the performance of their teams.
• Provide support and advice to managers and supervisors on employee relations including disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Monitor employee performance evaluations and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
• Sickness absence management.
• Facilitate or provide training to the workforce.
• Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
• Keep human resource system records up to date and compile KPI reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable.
• Ability to travel to other sites as and when required (access to a vehicle is required)
